Accounting, Insurance… do I have to?  Not your typical class about the balance sheet, but an opportunity to understand the impact of these business elements, why you need them and how they can help keep your business whole.  Elaine Spalding of the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce hosts the panel:

Greg Edds, represents State Farm Insurance a national group of insurance and financial services companies throughout the United States headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois. Greg has achieved multiple awards in the insurance industry.  He is also the current Chairman for the Rowan County Board of Commissioners.

Jeremy Jacobs is the local representative for a GreerWalker CPAs and Advisors, a regional CPA and Advisory firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina that provides tax, assurance, accounting, and business advisory services. It is among the top 200 largest CPA firms in the United States.  Jeremy is based in China Grove.

Semone Brisson is an accounting coach and educator for Small Business Centers within the N.C. Community college system.   She also provides accounting services for QuickBooks setup, implementation, and training for small to mid-size businesses and non-profits.
